Islanders bring back forward Eric Boulton on 1-year deal

The New York Islanders have re-signed forward Eric Boulton to a one-year, two-way contract.

Boulton will earn $575,000 at the National Hockey League level.

The 39-year-old appeared in six games with the Islanders in 2015-16 and registered two penalty minutes and a minus-three rating. Boulton has scored 31 goals and totalled 79 points in 654 career games with the Buffalo Sabres, Atlanta Thrashers, New Jersey Devils, and Islanders.

The Rangers originally selected Boulton in the ninth round (234th overall) at the 1994 NHL Draft.
