Islanders’ Casey Cizikas to miss a month with upper-body injury

John Tavares scored his 22nd goal of the season and the New York Islanders defeated the Detroit Red Wings.

New York Islanders forward Casey Cizikas will miss four weeks with an upper-body injury, according to Arthur Staple of Newsday.

Cizikas appeared to be holding his left hand as he left the ice Tuesday night.

The 25-year-old has seven goals and 23 points in 53 games.
