Josh Ho-Sang has been re-assigned from the New York Islanders‘ AHL affiliate to San Antonio, the farm club of the St. Louis Blues.

No reason for the move was given by the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, New York’s affiliate, in a tweet.

According to Sound Tigers play-by-play voice Alan Fuehring, the Islanders have the ability to send Ho-Sang to any other team’s AHL affiliate.

Ho-Sang has three goals and seven assists in 16 games this season for Bridgeport.

The 2014 first round pick of the Islanders has struggled to get a consistent shot with the NHL club despite always being known for having elite skill.

Ho-Sang, 24, has seven goals and 17 assists in 53 career NHL games.
