Islanders recall Ho-Sang, Dal Colle from AHL on emergency basis

Some youth will be injected into the New York Islanders lineup as forwards Joshua Ho-Sang and Michael Dal Colle were recalled from the AHL on an emergency basis, the team announced Tuesday.

Ho-Sang, 23, last played with the Islanders on Jan. 5. He has one goal and one assist in 10 NHL appearances this season and has added 36 points in 44 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Meanwhile, Dal Colle is operating at a point-per-game pace with the Sound Tigers, scoring 18 goals and adding 16 assists in 34 games. The 22-year-old’s most recent appearance in the NHL was Feb. 12. He has two goals and two assists in 20 games with the Isles this season.

The Islanders host the Ottawa Senators Tuesday night.
