Flyers’ Voracek injures knee in KHL game

Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek suffered a knee injury during a KHL game on Saturday night.

Voracek, 23, hurt his knee while playing for HC Lev Praha and is expected to miss up to four weeks with what is believed to be a “sprain.”

The Flyers winger will undergo further tests this week to determine the severity of the injury.

Voracek is one of the seven Flyers players playing overseas during the NHL lockout. He has recorded one goal and six assists in seven games in the KHL.

The seventh overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft compiled 18 goals and 31 assists in 78 games with the Flyers last season.
