The Winnipeg Jets have activated defenceman Dmitry Kulikov from the injured reserve and placed forward Logan Shaw on waivers, the team announced Thursday.

Kulikov suffered an upper-body injury in late November. The 29-year-old was originally expected to be out of the lineup until the all-star break later this month.

Kulikov has averaged 19:42 of ice time, with one goal and four points in 25 games this season.

Shaw has two goals and three points in 25 games this season. He was a healthy scratch for the Jets’ past five contests.

The 27-year-old posted three goals and five points in eight games with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose this season before being called up to the NHL.
