Jets’ Adam Lowry to have hearing for boarding Flames’ Kylington

Oliver Kylington would need some help leaving the ice after being hit into the boards by Adam Lowry.

Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry will have a hearing on Monday with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety after delivering a hard hit during the Heritage Classic.

Lowry hit Calgary Flames defenceman Oliver Kylington in the final seconds of the second period Saturday night at Mosaic Stadium.

He received a minor penalty for boarding on the play and a large scrum ensued afterwards.
