Jets’ Bryan Little exits pre-season game vs. Wild after taking high hit

Winnipeg Jets centre Bryan Little exited Sunday’s pre-season game against the Minnesota Wild and did not return after taking a high hit in the first period.

Little was bent over and skating towards his own net when Wild forward Luke Kunin ran into him and Little fell to the ice.

Winnipeg announced in the second period that Little had an upper-body injury.

The 31-year-old Little only played 1:07 before leaving with the injury.

He had 15 goals and 26 assists last season while playing in all 82 games for the Jets.
