Winnipeg Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien will sit out his club’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes Sunday night to nurse an upper-body injury.

Byfuglien, 33, left practice on Saturday with the injury and did not return. Dmitry Kulikov will replace Byfuglien on the blue line and be paired up with Ben Chiarot to start the contest.
