Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault exited Wednesday night’s playoff opener with an upper-body injury and won’t return, the team announced.
The 30-year-old did not begin the third period of Winnipeg’s Game 1 matchup against the Minnesota Wild.
Perreault scored 17 goals and 39 points in 70 games this season.
The team did not have an update on Perreault’s injury after the game.
