Winnipeg Jets defenceman Josh Morrissey left Tuesday’s game against the San Jose Sharks with a lower-body injury and will not return.
Morrissey appeared to injure himself blocking a shot in the first period. He tried to return in the second frame, but was ruled out shortly after.
The 23-year-old has six goals and 22 assists on the season.
