Jets’ Myers leaves Game 3 against Wild with injury

Tyler Myers was forced to exit the game after an awkward collision with Marcus Foligno. Myers was down for quite some time before being helped off the ice.

Winnipeg Jets defenceman Tyler Myers left Game 3 on Sunday against the Minnesota Wild with an injury.

The incident occurred when Myers collided with Wild’s Marcus Foligno awkwardly near the Jets bench in the final five minutes of the second period. Myers lay on the ice for a period of time before he was helped off the ice and to the locker room.

Earlier in the game, Myers scored the Jets’ second goal of the game, adding on to his goal and assist he picked up in Game 2 to give him three total points in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
