Jets recall goaltender Eric Comrie from AHL Manitoba

Austin Watson and Viktor Arvidsson scored back-to-back shorthanded goals on the same penalty kill and the Nashville Predators defeated the Winnipeg Jets.

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled goaltender Eric Comrie from the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.

Comrie has a 17-11-3 record with the Moose this season, with a 2.56 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.

The 22-year-old is a 2013 second-round pick (59th overall) and has appeared in two NHL games in his career.

The Jets needed a goaltender after Michael Hutchinson left Tuesday’s loss to Nashville with an upper-body injury.
