Jets recall goaltender Michael Hutchinson from AHL’s Moose

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled goaltender Michael Hutchinson from the Manitoba Moose after Steve Mason left the team’s morning skate with an unknown injury.

Hutchinson has a 2-1-0 record with the Jets this season while compiling a 3.26 goals-against average and a .907 save percentage.

The 28-year-old played 26 games for Manitoba this season, going 17-5-4 to finish the regular season second in the AHL with a .935 SV%. Hutchinson’s 2.08 goals-against average ranks third in the AHL.

The Jets also announced that they have loaned goaltender Jamie Phillips to the Moose.
