Jets recall Jack Roslovic; Brandon Tanev placed on IR

Connor Hellebuyck made 42 saves and the Winnipeg Jets doubled up the New York Islanders.

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward prospect Jack Roslovic from the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, and have placed forward Brandon Tanev on injured reserve.

Roslovic is having a great season with Manitoba, having scored 15 goals and 35 points in 31 games.

The 20-year-old one of Winnipeg’s first-round picks in 2015, taken 25th overall.

The American made his NHL debut last season, playing one game for the Jets in April.

Tanev suffered a lower-body injury in Friday’s win over the New York Islanders.

The 25-year-old has three goals and 10 points in 39 games this season.
