Jets sign defenceman Tucker Poolman to three-year deal

The Winnipeg Jets have signed defenceman Tucker Poolman to a three-year deal worth $2.325 million, the team announced on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old blue-liner played in 24 games for the Jets last season, recording one goal and one assist with a plus-2 rating. Poolman also suited up in 17 AHL contests for the Manitoba Moose, scoring one goal and 10 points over that span.

Drafted out in the fifth round (127th overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft, Poolman played three seasons at the University of North Dakota before joining the Jets last season.

Winnipeg also announced the re-signing of forward Marko Dano to a one-year contract worth $800,000.
