Jets sign RFA goaltender Comrie to 1-year deal

Elliotte Friedman joins Tim and Sid to discuss how Winnipeg Jets will have some tough roster decisions when it comes to contracts in the near future.

The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed restricted free agent goaltender Eric Comrie to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal is worth $650,000 at the NHL level.

Comrie played three games for the Jets last season, allowing 12 goals on 94 shots. He had an 18-13-3 record for the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, posting two shutouts to go with his 2.58 goals-against average, and .916 save percentage.

The 23-year-old was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2013 NHL Draft.
