Jets’ Tanev leaves game vs. Wild with upper-body injury

Winnipeg Jets forward Brandon Tanev suffered an upper-body injury and will not return to Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Wild, the team announced.

Tanev appeared to get hurt after taking a slash to the left hand from Eric Staal early in the first period.

The 27-year-old has 14 goals and 15 assists in 79 games this season.
