Jets’ Tobias Enstrom helped off ice after blocking shot

The Winnipeg Jets made a splash at the deadline, acquiring centre Paul Stastny from the St. Louis Blues and sending their first-round pick in the deal.

Winnipeg Jets defenceman Tobias Enstrom left Monday’s practice early with an apparent injury.

Enstrom had to be helped off the ice after blocking a shot.

Addressing reporters after practice, Jets coach Paul Maurice said Enstrom was “fine.”

The 33-year-old blueliner has scored one goal and registered five assists in 39 games this season.

More details to come as they are made available.
