BROSSARD, Que. — Jonathan Drouin is back with the Montreal Canadiens after missing the last four games and is likely to play when they host the Edmonton Oilers this Saturday.
Drouin missed games last Thursday and Saturday with a lower-body injury, then two more this past Tuesday and Thursday with a virus. The Canadiens went 2-1-1 in his absence.
Drouin returned to Canadiens practice Friday and was paired with Alex Galchenyuk and new linemate Andrew Shaw.
In 25 games this season, Drouin has five goals and 17 points and a minus-8 rating.
