Jordin Tootoo was the first Inuk to play in the NHL, the hockey world first noticed Tootoo in Brandon, Manitoba as a star with the Wheat Kings. The town of Brandon Manitoba meant so much to Jordin. He met his wife there but it’s also the place where his brother committed suicide 17 years ago. It’s only fitting he returned to Brandon to retire and say thank you.
