Karlsson, Hedman arrive to all-star skills competition dressed as pirates

Watch as P.K. Subban found out live on air about Erik Karlsson and Victor Hedman entering the All-Star Skills Competition dressed in full pirate costumes.

Fellow Swedish NHL defencemen Erik Karlsson and Victor Hedman really know how to celebrate Pirate Fest.

The pair of all-stars arrived to the NHL Skills Competition on Saturday donning intricate pirate costumes coinciding with Gasparilla Pirate Fest taking place in Tampa, Fla., the same location of NHL All-Star Weekend.

The festival has been held almost every year since 1904 honouring fictional pirate José Gaspar, a Spanish pirate who is suppossed to have operated around the Fla. area in the 1800s.

The event includes a parade and reenactments of Gaspar and his crew pirating across Tampa Bay.
