Kings re-sign forward Nick Shore to one-year contract

Los Angeles Kings forward Nick Shore had one goal and three assists to help lead his team to a 6-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers.

The Los Angeles Kings signed Nick Shore to a one-year contract extension worth $925,000, the Kings announced Thursday.

Shore set career highs in with 70 games played, six goals and 11 assists this past season.

The 24-year-old will once again be a restricted free agent after this contract expires in 2018.

Shore has spent his entire NHL career with the Kings after the team selected him in the third-round (82nd overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft.
