The Los Angeles Kings have signed winger Martin Frk to a two-year contract extension that carries an average annual value of $725,000.
Frk, 26, has six points in eight games with the Kings this season, but leads the AHL’s Ontario Reign with 23 goals, 36 points and a plus-12 rating in 37 games. He was set to become a restricted free agent this summer.
Frk made headlines earlier this season at the AHL all-star skills competition when he set a new hardest shot record of 109.2 m.p.h.
