S. Kostitsyn asked to stay away from practice

If the Thursday morning skate is any indication, Sergei Kostitsyn has played his last game in Montreal.

The Canadiens forward was asked by head coach Jacques Martin to remain in the gym and not partake in the drills.

Kostitsyn has not played since Game 5 of the first round against Washington and as a restricted free agent at the end of the season it is likely that he will not be back. The younger brother to teammate Andrei Kostitsyn spent most of the year in the minors and collected seven goals and 11 assists in 47 games at the NHL level.

The Canadiens face a must-win in Game 4 against the Penguins, who lead the series 2-1 in games.
