Laine, Scheifele remain out for Game 3 between Jets, Flames

The Hockey Central panel breaks down the Winnipeg Jets bounce back victory in Game 2 of their qualifying series against the Calgary Flames.

Winnipeg Jets forwards Patrik Laine and Mark Scheifele are out of the lineup for Game 3 against the Calgary Flames.

Scheifele suffered a leg injury in the first period of Game 1 and Laine hurt his hand in the third. Both players left Game 1 early with their injuries and neither played in Game 2.

Forward Mason Appleton, who also didn’t play in Game 2, remains out of the lineup as well.

The Flames will be making one lineup change for Game 3 with forward Mark Jankowski replacing Zac Rinaldo on the fourth line.
