Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will return from a lower-body injury against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night.

Landeskog has missed the past 16 games with his injury. He has three goals and seven points in 11 games this season.

Winger Andre Burakovsky will also return to the lineup after missing three games with an upper-body injury and centre Nazem Kadri will miss the game with a lower-body injury that he picked up in Wednesday’s win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

To make room for Landeskog on the active roster, forward Logan O’Connor was reassigned to the AHL’s Colorado Eagles.
