The Los Angeles police department is keeping quiet about allegations against Leafs defenseman Mike Komisarek.
An officer from the LAPD’s Hollywood Division confirmed to Sportsnet that Komisarek is being investigated.
“It’s an open investigation and we will not release anymore information at this time. At this point no charges have been laid.”
On Sunday, Komisarek told reporters that has been asked by Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke not to comment on the investigation.
The Leafs defenseman has reportedly been accused by a woman who claims Komisarek hit her in the face while the two were dancing in a Hollywood nightclub.
