Curtis Lazar is still developing as a hockey player, but he’s proving his case as the world’s best roommate.
The Ottawa Senators forward posted a picture of a “Get Well Soon” card he made for teammate Chris Phillips, who underwent back surgery on Tuesday. Phillips will miss the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Solid artistry skills, we must say.
Lazar moved into Phillips’ house earlier this season after living at a hotel for a month.
“It’ll be good for me to get out of the hotel and just get a home-cooked meal for once,” Lazar told the Ottawa Sun in October. “That’s one thing I’m really craving.”
Phillips, 37, is the oldest player on the Senators’ roster.
