The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenceman Daniel Walcott to a one-year, two-way extension, the team announced.

According to CapFriendly, the deal has a base salary of $700,000.

Walcott missed 71 games during the 2018-19 campaign after sustaining a shoulder injury during the pre-season.

Walcott was acquired by the Lightning from the New York Rangers on June 1, 2015 in exchange for a seventh-round pick that season.
