The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed Nolan Foote, their 2019 first-round pick, to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Foote, 18, was the 27th overall pick in last week’s NHL Draft.

Foote, a forward, is the son of former NHL defenceman Adam Foote and the brother of defenceman Cal Foote, who the Lightning took in the first round in 2017.
Nolan Foote scored 36 goals and 63 points in 66 games last season with the WHL’s Kelowna Rockets.
