Lightning sign goaltender Spencer Martin to one-year deal

The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed goaltender Spencer Martin to a one-year, two-way deal.

The club announced the contract, which is worth $700,000 at the NHL level, on Monday.

Martin has appeared in three NHL games, all with the Colorado Avalanche in 2016-17. The 24-year-old is one of three netminders brought in by Tampa Bay on Monday. The club also inked Curtis McElhinney to a two-year deal, and brought in Scott Wedgewood on a one-year, two-way pact.
