Lightning’s Brayden Point to replace Victor Hedman at 2018 NHL All-Star game

Watch as Brayden Point turns Bryan Little inside out and beats Connor Hellebuyck with a beautiful goal in overtime.

Brayden Point will replace Tampa Bay Lightning teammate Victor Hedman at the 2018 NHL All-Star Game.

The move gives the Atlantic Division seven forwards and just two defencemen for the 3-on-3 competition.

Point has 19 goals and 43 points in 48 games this season, his second in the NHL.

Hedman was placed on injured reserve after suffering a lower-body injury on Jan. 11.

The Lightning will send four players to the all-star game, the most of any NHL team.
