Tampa Bay Lightning star forward Steven Stamkos will remain sidelined for the team’s round-robin game vs. the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday and is out indefinitely, coach Jon Cooper told reporters Friday.

The 30-year-old pivot has yet to play in any of the Lightning’s round-robin games after suffering a lower-body injury in the team’s Phase 2 skates.

The No. 1 seed in the East will be up for grab in Saturday’s matchup between the Lightning and Flyers. The Capitals and Bruins will play for the No. 3 seed Sunday.

Stamkos had 29 goals and 66 points in 57 games before suffering a core muscle injury earlier this year.
