Lightning’s Stralman, Brown return to full practice

Anton Stralman had to leave the game after this awkward fall in front of the net where he was tangled with Anders Lee.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Anton Stralman and forward J.T. Brown participated in a full practice with the team on Wednesday, their first since suffering injuries.

Stralman hasn’t played since fracturing his left fibula seven weeks ago. The 29-year-old was Tampa’s second highest scorer from the blue line in the regular season with 34 points in 73 games.

The Swede had one goal and eight assists in last year’s playoff run to the Stanley Cup Final.

Brown suffered an upper-body injury in Game 2 of the Lightning’s first-round series against the Detroit Red Wings.

He had eight goals and 22 points in 78 games during the regular season.

The Lightning will face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference Final which starts this weekend.
