If you’ll think back to the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs for a moment, you’ll surely be able to recall the best goal call of the post-season.
It came from our friends at Hockey Night in Punjabi after Nick Bonino scored for the Pittsburgh Penguins. BoninoBoninoBonino!
Well, they are back at it again this year and were blessed with a Mitch Marner goal, his first in the NHL as a member of the Maple Leafs. The goal itself was a beautiful snipe job, a goal scorer’s goal, if you will, to the lower blocker side of Anton Khudobin.
And you know Hockey Night in Punjabi had this goal call locked down.
Here we are, Night 4 of the new season and the first Hockey Night in Canada of the new hockey season — and we already have a terrific goal call from the guys and an early favourite for goal call of the year.
More please.
