The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired forward Nicholas Baptiste from the Nashville Predators, the club announced Sunday.

The 23-year-old Baptiste has suited up for 54 games for the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals this season, posting 10 goals and 20 points over that span. He has yet to appear in an NHL game in 2018-19, though the Ottawa, Ont., native has 47 games in the big leagues on his resumé from his time with the Buffalo Sabres organization.

Baptiste, originally a third-round (69th overall) draft pick of the Sabres’ in 2013, will report to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.
