Toronto Maple Leafs forward Andreas Johnsson will play Sunday after the team activated him off injured reserve.
Johnsson hasn’t played since Feb. 13, when he sustained a knee injury after colliding with teammate Kasperi Kapanen. On Sunday, Johnsson slots in on the third line with Alexander Kerfoot and Ilya Mikheyev, in place of Nicholas Robertson.
Prior to his injury, Johnsson had eight goals and 21 points in 43 games for the Maple Leafs. Now he returns for a win-or-go-home Game 5 play-in matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
