The Toronto Maple Leafs got a defenceman back on the roster after activating Roman Polak off the injured reserve Thursday.
Polak was hurt on Nov. 22 after getting tangled up with Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar and was placed on the IR Dec. 7.
The 28-year-old was acquired by the Maple Leafs at the end of June from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Carl Gunnarsson and a 2014 draft pick.
