Maple Leafs activate Tyler Ennis from injured reserve

Tyler Ennis exited the Maple Leafs game with an apparent ankle injury.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have activated forward Tyler Ennis from injured reserve, the club announced Sunday.

The 29-year-old has been out of the Maple Leafs lineup since late December while dealing with an ankle injury.

Through 33 games thus far this season, Ennis has seven goals and 11 points to his name for Toronto.

Prior to his latest stint in Toronto, Ennis suited up for Minnesota for one season and Buffalo for eight years. He has 112 goals and 269 points through 525 total appearances in the big leagues.
