Toronto Maple Leafs forward Andreas Johnsson will play Monday night when the club hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Johnsson’s status was called into question when he left Saturday’s matchup against the Boston Bruins after blocking a shot. He was ruled out for the third period and did not practise Sunday.
Also on Monday, the Blue Jackets announced that forward Josh Anderson has been activated off injured reserve and is available to suit up in Toronto.
The 25-year-old has missed the past six games with an upper body injury suffered in the team’s second game of the season.
