Jonathan Bernier will battle James Reimer for the No. 1 job in toronto.

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier will be sporting an old-school look when he straps on the pads with his new team this season.

InGoal Magazine got a behind the scenes look at Bernier’s new retro-inspired gear at the Reebok CCM Goalie Summit in Montreal on Tuesday. Along with the all-white pads seen below, Bernier also has a tan pair on order for the Winter Classic

The 25-year-old Laval, Que., native also teased his new mask on Tuesday, which at first glance appears to be a blue version of the design he used in Los Angeles.
