Toronto Maple Leafs forward Kasperi Kapanen will not return to Monday’s game against the Nashville Predators after suffering an arm injury.

Kapanen only played 4:42 in the first period before the Leafs announced that he was out for the game during the middle frame.

In 49 games this season, the 23-year-old has 10 goals and 28 points. The winger had been the subject of trade talk recently according to Elliotte Friedman, who said that the only way the Leafs could move him was in a deal that made them significantly better.
