The Toronto Maple Leafs have loaned forward Adam Brooks and defenceman Martin Marincin to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies, the team announced Saturday.

In the past week, Brooks and Marincin have been recalled/loaned to and from the minors a combined nine times. Most recently, both players were recalled by the Maple Leafs on Thursday.

Brooks has seven goals and 14 points in 18 games for the Marlies this year. Marincin has one assist in three games with the Marlies, as well as zero points and four penalty minutes in seven games with the Maple Leafs.

Forward Trevor Moore, who hasn’t played since Nov. 15 with a shoulder injury, has been near a return since Tuesday, when he was set to play against Buffalo before suffering a setback caused by a hit in practice the day prior.

After a 6-3 win over the New York Rangers on Friday, Toronto will host the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday.
