Maple Leafs loan forward Egor Koshkov to AHL Marlies

Watch as Toronto Maple Leafs rookie Egor Korshkov scores his first NHL goal in his first NHL game.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have loaned forward Egor Korshkov to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies, the team announced Friday.

Korshkov made his NHL debut on Feb. 16 against the Buffalo Sabres, scoring a goal in 10:08 of ice time.

The 23-year-old has 14 goals and 21 points this season with the Marlies. Korshkov was selected by the Leafs in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
