The Toronto Maple Leafs have loaned forward Trevor Moore back to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL, the club announced Wednesday.

The Leafs called up Moore last Friday, but he has yet to make his NHL debut.

Moore is being loaned to the Marlies with the Leafs off until Friday, when they take on the New Jersey Devils at home. He will likely be recalled sometime during Toronto’s four-game road trip, which will kick off in Boston Saturday and continue through three California teams as it’s unlikely the team will travel without an extra forward.

In 10 games played with the Marlies this season, the 23-year-old has eight goals and 11 points.
