The Toronto Maple Leafs have loaned forward Pontus Aberg and defenceman Martin Marincin to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.

Aberg was recalled from the Marlies after Andreas Johnsson was placed on long-term injury reserve with a lower-body injury. In three games with the Leafs, the 26-year-old registered an assist while averaging 10:03 in ice time.

Marincin has played in seven games for the Leafs averaging 11:51 in ice time with a minus-one rating and four penalty minutes. The 27-year-old was placed on waivers on Nov. 9.
