The Toronto Maple Leafs have named John Lilley the team’s new director of amateur scouting.

Lilley was previously the club’s top U.S. scout.

Former assistant GM Mark Hunter, who left the Leafs shortly after Kyle Dubas was promoted to general manager, also headed up Toronto’s pro and amateur scouting during the four years he was with the team.
