Maple Leafs prospect Rasmus Sandin leaves Marlies game vs. Stars

Toronto Maple Leafs defence prospect Rasmus Sandin was forced to leave Saturday’s Toronto Marlies game against the Texas Stars and would not return.

No further details on the nature of why Sandin was forced to leave have been made available by the team at this time.

When the 19-year-old left the game, the Marlies were leading 8-2 heading into the third period.

In eight games this season with the Marlies, Sandin has nine points. He’s also registered two assists in six games with the Maple Leafs.

Sandin was selected in the first round (29th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
