The Toronto Maple Leafs have reportedly signed winger Curtis Glencross to a professional tryout (PTO), according to Sportsnet 590 The FAN’s Andrew Walker.
Glencross, 32, had spent the majority of his career with the Calgary Flames before being dealt to the Washington Capitals at the 2015 trade deadline. He became an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
He had 13 goals and 35 points between the two clubs last season, and has registered 134 goals and 275 points in 507 career NHL games.
The Maple Leafs signed another veteran forward, Devin Setoguchi, to a PTO last month.
